Unveiling History: The Existence of Prehistoric Giants on Earth

In ancient China, there are accounts of giants standing over 4 meters tall. References to such giants appear not only in texts like the "Shan Hai Jing," "Bo Wu Zhi," "Sou Shen Ji," and "Shi Yi Ji," but also in various historical records and writings by traditional scholars. Additionally, numerous archaeological findings suggest the existence of giants.

History of "Giants"

"The Spring and Autumn Annals," one of China's classic ancient texts, includes a record about giants: In the eleventh year of Duke Wen of Lu, an archer named Shusun Dechen shot and killed a giant named Qiaoru, who stood three zhang tall (approximately 9.6 meters). When he fell, his body covered an area of nine mu (about 0.6 hectares). Shusun Dechen severed his head to claim rewards, placing it on his cart, with the giant's brow towering above the cart's railing. Despite ancient measurement equivalents placing the height around eight inches per modern foot, the description of the head resting atop the cart is detailed. The head alone was nearly the height of an adult, emphasizing his status as a giant.

The "Book of Han" notes that in the twenty-sixth year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, giants appeared in Lintao County, standing five zhang tall (around 16 meters) and wearing shoes six feet long. There were twelve of them, all clad in the attire of barbarian tribes. Celestial omens cautioned against engaging in barbaric acts to avoid disaster. That year, Qin Shi Huang had just unified the six states and took this as a fortuitous sign, prompting him to destroy weapons nationwide and create twelve golden figures as auspicious symbols.

Despite the extraordinary stature of these giants, standing three to five zhang tall, historical texts and orthodox scholars affirm their existence with conviction, supported by archaeological evidence.

Archaeological Evidence of "Giants"

It is claimed that as early as the 16th century, Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan, during his circumnavigation, encountered "Indians equivalent to the height of eight normal men" dancing along the American coast. Assuming a normal height of 1.65 meters, these dancers would be at least 13 meters tall. Though Magellan may have exaggerated, it's plausible he witnessed giants. In the late 19th century, a Western scholar reported to the media the discovery of a tribe of giants in the Malay Peninsula jungles, describing them as "about three to four meters tall," with wooden beds too heavy for ordinary people to lift.

On the summit of Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka, there are giant footprints measuring 1.5 meters long and 0.8 meters wide. Local Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims regard these as "sacred marks" and make pilgrimages to the peak to pay homage. The footprint size allows for speculation on the height of the individual who left them.

On October 8, 1921, the "Shengjing Daily" in Shenyang reported a rare occurrence known as "Luoyang paper being expensive." The intriguing news recounted how, during road reconstruction in the Daminghao area of Beijing's Xicheng District, workers unearthed eight giant skeletons at the base of a wall at No. 40 Xiaogang. Each skeleton measured over eight feet long, with heads resembling the size of a cow's. The height of the deceased would likely have been around 3 meters. Remarkably, eight giant skeletons were discovered in a single find.

In the late 1970s, a group of explorers claimed they encountered a tribe of red-haired, hunchbacked giants in the upper Amazon region, guided by Peruvian Indians.

A Swedish expedition reported discovering the ruins of a tropical city in Antarctica. In the summer of 1993, an earthquake shook the continent, causing a glacier to break apart, revealing the city hidden beneath. This largely ice-covered city features skyscrapers—some pyramid-shaped, others cylindrical—with thin yet strong walls lacking insulation. Most notably, these tall buildings have no doors—only high, horseshoe-shaped entrances approximately 6 meters tall. Scientists used various methods to estimate the city is over 30,000 years old, suggesting a distinct area of human habitation. Based on the entrance heights, it's speculated that the city's residents were approximately 3.6 to 4.2 meters tall.

If giants once roamed the Earth, what kinds of people were they? How did they vanish or face extinction? According to modern science, the recorded history of humanity spans roughly 5,000 years, with the history of settled urban life being even shorter. Consequently, modern scientific understanding may significantly differ from the true history.
