Recognizing the Facial Traits of Unfulfilled Greed

The quality of life does not solely rely on material wealth or career advancement, nor is it entirely dictated by luck. Instead, it depends on whether one's heart is content. If a person is easily satisfied, they can find happiness anywhere; however, for someone hard to please, even the finest food, clothing, and possessions will fail to bring joy, leading to discontent.

There are three types of people who exemplify a state of dissatisfaction. This mindset significantly impacts future suffering and misfortune.

First, there are those whose eyes appear at ease but have a dark hue. This isn't the same as insomnia; it's a condition that's difficult to recover from. Typically, these individuals have pronounced dark circles, bulging eyes, and a sharp expression. This state arises from an overemphasis on fulfilling desires, resulting in a constant quest for self-satisfaction.

Second, there are individuals whose expressions lack focus. When they look in any direction, their gaze seems distracted by other things. This is a sign of excessive vanity, often causing them to be unaware of their true wants and likes, rendering genuine satisfaction elusive. They always feel unable to find happiness.

Third, there are those with wide mouths and small eyes, yet their lips are smooth and lack texture. Some may have larger mouths but lack expressive ability, with lips that are flat and have few lines. Such individuals exhibit strong greed, with ever-increasing demands in both physical and psychological aspects, regardless of what they use or consume.

Possessing these three characteristics indicates a heart filled with greed, where the mind becomes enslaved by desire. This is extremely dangerous; once a person reaches the point of recklessness, they lose control over the situation.
