How to Spot Potential Deception from Facial Expressions
1. Short and Light Eyebrows
People with short, light eyebrows are often calculating and can be vindictive. They may scheme behind others’ backs and show little gratitude. It’s best not to go into business with such individuals.
2. Narrow Forehead and Short Philtrum
In facial analysis, the forehead is called the “life palace,” reflecting one’s character, temperament, and overall fate. Those with a narrow forehead crowded by the eyebrows often lack broad-mindedness. They get hung up on trivial matters, are stubborn, and resist others’ advice. They’re frequently petty, jealous, and prone to holding grudges. If their philtrum is also short, it amplifies these extremes: they can’t tolerate others’ success, speak harshly, and relish underhanded tactics.
3. Unsteady Gaze
Individuals with an unsteady gaze who often look at others sideways usually harbor ill intentions and display petty traits. If they also have “three whites” or “four whites” (the whites of the eyes showing excessively), or eyes shaped like an inverted triangle, they tend to be even more narrow-minded and cunning, lacking generosity. They act out of self-interest and can be ruthless. Additionally, those with one eye noticeably larger than the other are hard to associate with; they are deeply calculating and often wish others ill. If someone surpasses them, they will go to great lengths to undermine that person in secret.
4. Bony Nose Tip and Knobby Nose Bridge
A person with a thin nose and a prominent, knobby bridge typically has a cruel heart, is selfish, and enjoys scheming against others. If the tip hooks inward like an eagle’s beak, they are even darker and more calculating, with a strong thirst for revenge. Do not offend them, as they retaliate with ruthless methods.
5. Crooked Nose and Misaligned Philtrum
Individuals with a crooked nose and a misaligned philtrum often have ulterior motives, prefer shortcuts in their work, and enjoy spreading rumors behind others’ backs—hallmarks of a petty person.
6. Broad Cheekbones
Those with excessively broad cheekbones—sometimes described as having “cheeks seen behind the ears”—are typically very narrow-minded and lack compassion. They will go to any lengths to achieve their goals, and when interests clash or situations turn difficult, they will disregard others’ well-being to save themselves, making them some of the most ruthless petty individuals.
