What Are "Pig Eyes" in Face Reading?

15.5K views

In traditional face reading, the eyes are called the “inspectors” and are considered highly important. By observing someone’s eyes, one can form a general sense of their character. Favorable eyes show a clear contrast between the whites and the irises, a lively spirit, and a steady focus without darting, zoning out, or avoiding contact. Looking at others from the corners of the eyes is referred to as “strabismus”; staring vacantly without movement is called a “dull gaze,” likened to a pig’s eyes.

I. Characteristics of Pig Eyes

A poem says: “With dim eyes and a hazy gaze, thick skin and broad features, even wealth may bring punishment, and evil deeds cannot escape the law.” “With pig-like eyes—dim and slanted, with yellowed whites laced with red threads—such a person is surely muddled and foolish, destined for a grim fate.” Pig eyes are described as small in shape, with thick, broad eyelids; more white than black showing in the eyeball; cloudy whites often tinged with yellow or streaked with red veins; and a dull, listless gaze.

II. The Violent Nature of Pig-Eyed Individuals

Pig eyes are said to signal a violent disposition. People with this look are often round and fleshy, projecting an imposing exterior while harboring unwholesome intentions. They tend to be irritable and cruel, greedy and foolish, unable to distinguish righteousness from profit. Even if they live in wealth, they struggle to find peace. They avoid deep thinking and often act recklessly, accumulating misdeeds that harm their community and make legal consequences hard to escape. Such individuals are also said to have few descendants and to lead relatively lonely lives.
