Amid the era of only children, narcissism and selfishness have become prevalent, sometimes reaching pathological extremes. In seeking validation, some individuals resort to peculiar behaviors.

Those with narcissistic tendencies exhibit vacant, exaggerated gazes, while selfish individuals display narrow nostrils and a mean demeanor. People who are petty tend to have gaunt cheeks and a sharp look.

Extreme selfishness can lead to loneliness, while extreme narcissism often results in depression. High levels of pettiness are associated with shorter life spans, and excessive sharpness can invite misfortune.

I have come across many attractive individuals whose appearances fade as their surroundings improve, replaced by growing selfishness and pettiness. What was once considered charming can become tarnished and unappealing, often due to the allure of temptation.

For example, a young person who once led a disciplined life may start drinking ten times a month and getting drunk seven or eight times, or gamble a dozen times. Within three months, their hidden selfishness and pettiness will surface, revealing their true nature.

True beauty emerges from within and can enhance outward appearance. However, this external appeal is not measured by traditional beauty standards but rather through physiognomy, which assesses a person’s life.
