Predicting Fortune and Misfortune from Facial Complexion
By observing a person's complexion, we can gauge good or bad fortune, especially when making important decisions. We often act hastily, but the signals shown in our complexion can offer valuable guidance and insight.
In physiognomy, there are several major taboos related to complexion:
1. If the forehead appears bluish and the life gate looks dark, avoid long-distance travel, including trips to the suburbs, countryside, or mountains. Darkening around the mouth and dark nostrils indicate one should avoid water-related activities.
2. If the bridge of the nose and the longevity line appear red, it is unwise to engage in legal matters or disputes, as conflicts may escalate.
3. Darkening between the eyebrows suggests refraining from seeking employment, construction, business openings, excavations, or celebrations.
4. If the corners of the eyes look bluish or dark, it is inauspicious for marriage or discussions about marriage, and even more unfavorable for infidelity or illicit relationships.
5. An overly shiny face with coarse, dull skin under the eyes indicates one should be cautious in making friends, as it may lead to serious harm.
6. If the lower cheeks appear dull, it is not advisable to hire, recruit, or delegate tasks to others.
7. Spots on the upper lip and around the philtrum, with uneven coloration, suggest difficulties in seeking effective medical care and a risk of encountering incompetent doctors.
8. If the hairline is messy, thick, and jagged, it is not suitable for land acquisition, relocating graves, or farming.
9. If the ears and lips appear dark or purplish, it is not advisable to try for children.
