2. Sharp, Thin Nose Tip: In physiognomy, the nose relates to the spouse. A sharp, thin tip suggests fragility and a weak foundation—having a husband can feel like having none, and having a wife can feel the same.

3. Drooping or Curled Lips: Lips generally correspond to old age and children. If the lips droop or curl, it suggests a weaker bond with children and more distant ties with relatives, making it likelier to grow old without children by one’s side.

4. Skin Like Orange Peel: This one is easy to recognize—look closely and you’ll see the telltale orange-peel texture.

5. Small Waist with Pointed Hips or Flat Buttocks: For any gender, this is seen as a sign of thin fortune—hard to carry blessings and wealth—and thus a higher chance of lifelong singleness.

6. Nails Pointing Outward: This refers to fingernails that grow outward, visibly tilting upward.

7. Heavyset with Flat Buttocks: Considered especially unfavorable for men; physiognomy says it points to a lack of wife and children.

8. Looks Like a Monk or Daoist: This is mostly about overall impression—the person appears lean and spare, lacking flesh and fullness.

9. High Cheekbones Overwhelming a Low Nose: The cheekbones are very high while the nose is low—prominent cheekbones with a small nose tip. Such people are often strong-willed while their spouse is comparatively weak, which can lead to health issues for the spouse or marital strain from a dominant temperament, increasing the chance of ending up alone.

10. Small Head with a Large Body: This body shape also signals weak marital prospects. If marriage is possible, pursue it early; delaying may mean missed opportunities.
