Facial Analysis: Why You Keep Missing Out on Good Fortune

Some people feel like their luck never quite picks up—everything seems to arrive a step, or even several steps, behind everyone else. For example, when apples are handed out at work, they get the smallest one; when raises come through, theirs is the smallest; and when promotions happen, they’re always in the next round. Why is that? Teacher Hongxiang suggests that, beyond simple bad luck, the cause may be the “three delays” revealed in one’s facial features.

The “three delays” refer to late marriage, late childbearing, and late-arriving good fortune. From a face-reading perspective, such individuals typically display three coarse traits: coarse hair, a bristly beard, and thick eyebrows.

  • Coarse hair is said to diminish one’s noble aura; the denser and coarser the hair, the weaker that aura. Without a noble aura—and if one’s destiny is also weak—it’s hard to stand out, and career advancement tends to be limited.
  • Thick eyebrows can suppress one’s luck; the thicker and denser they are, the worse the outcome. This often points to diminished overall fortune and a lack of family prosperity.
  • A coarse beard suggests a stubborn temperament—set in one’s ways and reluctant to patiently heed advice. Such individuals often encounter obstacles, with more setbacks than successes.

When all three traits are pronounced, it indicates a strong-willed, impulsive, and straightforward nature, making it likely one will work hard yet reap modest rewards.

If someone has all three traits along with a pointed head, a narrow forehead, a small chin, a low forehead, low-set ears, and low cheekbones, they generally experience poor luck in childhood and youth and may still struggle to break through in middle age. A pointed head, a narrow or low forehead, low-set ears, and heavy eyebrows often correlate with weaker academic performance and limited education. A narrow or low forehead and low cheekbones also suggest a life of toil.

For those with a low, narrow forehead, it’s best not to wear long hair that covers it. Instead, part the hair so the forehead is visible, which is considered beneficial. Ideally, the forehead should fit at least four horizontal fingers (about three inches by medical measure); if it’s very narrow and short, improving one’s fortune is said to be difficult.

There are exceptions. Hidden black moles along the hairline can help offset some of the negative influence. In addition, auspicious cranial bone structure can directly counteract these unfavorable traits.
