The Nine-Year Annual Method involves adding 9 to the base age to determine subsequent ages. For instance, if the left ear represents age 4, then ages 13 and 22 are also influenced according to this method (4 + 9 = 13, 13 + 9 = 22). Positive features on the left ear can enhance one's fortune at these ages, while negative features can detract from it.
Therefore, it's important to consider the Nine-Year Annual Method alongside the Hundred-Year Annual Fortune Chart.
For example, if a woman displays blemishes, wrinkles, or moles on her nose—an area linked to health, marriage, and wealth—the Hundred-Year Annual Fortune Chart shows that the root of the nose corresponds to age 41, while the nose itself represents ages 44 and 45. These years might present emotional challenges or other issues. Additionally, using the Nine-Year Annual Method, the nose (representing age 2) also comes into play for ages 11, 20, 29, 38, 47, 56, 65, 74, 83, and 92, potentially indicating unfavorable fortunes during these times.
