Can Palm Reading Predict the End of a Marriage?

Every couple standing at the altar hopes to stay in love and grow old together—a timeless wish. Older generations tended to approach marriage cautiously; even when conflict arose, they often prioritized duty and, for their children’s sake, were reluctant to divorce. After weathering life’s ups and downs together, many found their bond deepened with age. By contrast, modern attitudes place greater emphasis on individualism—“as long as I like it, what’s the problem?”—which can lead to less mutual tolerance and regard for shared obligations. As a result, when issues arise, some couples separate more readily. In palmistry, the shape of the marriage line is often consulted to gauge the likelihood of divorce.

If the end of the marriage line splits into a wide fork (as shown in Figure A): it suggests divorce after a long period of separation. If it’s just a small fork, it doesn’t necessarily indicate divorce; it more likely points to cycles of separation and reunion.

If the end of the marriage line forks and droops (as shown in Figure B): the combination of these two features significantly increases the likelihood of divorce. If the forked, drooping line crosses the heart line, it suggests the divorce may proceed through legal channels.

If the marriage line is interrupted (as shown in Figure C): this indicates a break in the marriage that can lead to divorce. If the break is followed by a continuation of the line, there may still be a chance of reconciliation after the divorce.

If there is an island pattern at the end of the marriage line (as shown in Figure D): this suggests that affection may change after marriage, leading to separation or divorce. The more pronounced the island pattern, the greater the impact.

When examining marriage through palmistry, it’s not solely about the marriage line; the heart line, fate line, and the influence of the Mount of Venus should also be considered. If only the marriage line shows signs of potential divorce while other lines don’t exhibit significant issues, the situation may not be as serious.
