Why Stubbornness is the Greatest Barrier to Success

For many people, a prosperous life often means having wealth, a successful career, and power. However, from the standpoint of fate and destiny, the true measure of a good life is a smooth flow of fortune. While not everyone can reach the pinnacle of success, everyone can carve out their own path to achievement and satisfaction.
Consider a business scenario: due to varying perspectives and approaches, some people make money, while others incur losses. These perspectives are influenced by one's mindset, which is nurtured from a young age. Generally, mindsets can be categorized into those with a broad perspective and those with a narrow one.
Individuals with a broad perspective are typically good listeners and open to external opinions, yet they also have their own insights. Consequently, they can accurately seize opportunities, even when luck is unpredictable. Such individuals are poised to capitalize on opportunities that come their way. This demonstrates true understanding and adaptability.

In terms of physical traits associated with listening, the small fleshy bump on the outer ear is known as the "wind block." Those with a protruding wind block, a wide inner ear, a wind-catching ear shape, thin ear rims, and weak ear roots are often not receptive to others’ opinions and tend to disregard external information. Individuals with outwardly turned inner ears are even less likely to retain useful information. This is why ear shape is considered a key indicator of wealth and nobility in physiognomy. If one's ears are not well-formed, it indicates a lack of careful information gathering and a tendency toward blind arrogance. It’s not about being limited by one’s appearance but about actively seeking self-improvement. Understanding one's issues through fate and destiny requires careful observation and proactive improvement, rather than a passive attitude.

So, what about stubborn individuals? They are often impervious to external opinions; even when aware of their mistakes, they stubbornly cling to their beliefs, subconsciously believing they are the strongest and others are inferior. While this may appear as confidence, it is unfortunately a form of self-deception lacking foundation or substance. When real opportunities arise, this blind confidence becomes the biggest obstacle, turning potential profits into losses and good outcomes into bad ones. Such traits are common; these individuals often have dull eyes, drooping eyelids, prominent brow bones, and a low nasal bridge.
Observe the flow of a river; if a large rock suddenly obstructs its path, it will create waves and whirlpools. Life's fortunes mirror this; if one is not overly stubborn and maintains flexible thinking, the river of life, despite its twists and turns, can flow smoothly. Therefore, when people ask how successful they can be in their careers, they should consider their own stubbornness, their ability to adapt, and their habit of gathering diverse information and opinions to find a clear answer.
