In real life, as people reach middle age, their appearance often reflects their character and personality:

  • Generous people often have a face that exudes good fortune;
  • Those with gentle temperaments tend to have soft and kind features;
  • Individuals with a rough personality usually possess a fierce look;
  • People who secretly harm others often experience anxiety and poor health;
  • Narrow-minded individuals typically have sharp features and furrowed brows.

Those who appear especially youthful and beautiful are likely to be pure-hearted and kind, a reflection of their long-term cultivation of mind and behavior, indicating that their appearance also suggests their future destiny.

Compassionate and loving individuals often emit a certain inner glow, making them increasingly pleasant and likable, attracting both young and old. In contrast, selfish, cunning, and calculating individuals often have less appealing appearances; even if they were fortunate to be born with good looks, prolonged interaction will reveal their lack of charm, leading to aversion. Remember: after the age of forty, your inner self defines your appearance.

Appearance emerges from the heart. This means that the quality of a person's features aligns with the goodness or negativity within their spirit: the heart shapes character, character shapes life, life shapes fate, fate shapes luck, luck shapes complexion, and complexion shapes appearance. Appearance can gradually change, and every blessing has its inevitable cause.

True practitioners are particularly approachable and warm, exuding a childlike innocence and purity, free from inner burdens. Children are full of vitality and energy because they live each day joyfully and carefree, treating every experience as new and delightful, without worries about gains or losses or what the future holds. When you completely release your physical and mental burdens, energy naturally gathers within you, your body replenishes and adjusts quickly, and many chronic ailments may heal naturally.

If someone still compliments your beauty after the age of thirty-five, you are likely a fortunate person with a kind heart.

Once, President Lincoln interviewed a candidate but decided not to hire him. When asked why by his staff, he said, “I didn’t like his appearance!” Confused, the staff questioned, “Is it the person's fault if they were born with an unappealing face?”

Lincoln replied, “A person's face before the age of thirty-five is determined by their parents, but after thirty-five, one's appearance should be self-determined. One must take responsibility for their appearance after the age of thirty-five.”

A person's appearance during childhood and youth is influenced by genetics, but later in life, it is shaped more significantly by their earlier experiences. Thus, it is said that after the age of forty, you must take responsibility for your appearance.
