Facial Analysis: What's on Your Mind?
Everyone encounters difficult situations in life—challenges that are tough, uncontrollable, or seem impossible due to real-life circumstances. This is completely normal; everyone deals with such issues. However, the troubles and obstacles you face differ based on your unique destiny, personality, and choices.
Never assume that every situation is predetermined. While everyone will face challenges, the level of difficulty and distress you encounter is largely influenced by your own actions.
There is an ancient Chinese saying, "The world is inherently free of troubles; it is the foolish who create their own." Distress can be classified into two types: real-world troubles and mental troubles.
Real-world troubles involve survival issues, such as the inability to find a job, a business failing to thrive, or a family emergency requiring urgent funds. In physiognomy, real-world troubles appear as:
- Irregular patterns on the skin, including chaotic lines, vertical and horizontal patterns, with horizontal lines indicating the most significant issues.
- Spots appearing on the face in red, dark, or gray tones.
- Dark or reddish ear color while the face appears pale or grayish.
Generally, the causes and effects of real-world troubles are quite evident and observable. However, finding solutions after the fact can be challenging. There are often ways to prevent these issues before they occur. Ultimately, the root cause is often related to greed. For example, some individuals running large businesses may suddenly encounter financial troubles, becoming desperate. This often happens because they took excessive risks during unfavorable times. By the time they seek advice on fate and feng shui, it may be too late to be effective.
Mental troubles, on the other hand, are not related to survival but to the quality of life. They arise from unrealistic fantasies, leading to unattainable expectations and subsequent distress, manifested as:
- Dark circles under the eyes, feeling emotionally trapped.
- Darkness in the forehead area, indicating obstacles in seeking status or recognition.
- A dark ring around the lips, indicating inexplicable occurrences, leading to paranoia.
Mental distress stems from a flawed understanding of life, where one is overly focused on their own emotions as a guiding principle, leading to a loss of rationality. This is especially true in cases of emotional distress. Objectively, life may not have changed; it is merely your perception that has shifted.
When troubles arise, they feel real and tangible. However, upon reflecting on the entire process of distress, you may notice something interesting: these troubles could have been entirely avoided, or at least significantly reduced. Sometimes, by understanding the situation and consistently reassessing and adjusting your behavior, you can appreciate the difference between wisdom and folly, and intelligence and ignorance.
Traditional Chinese wisdom does not analyze situations as explicitly as Western methods, which can often lead to contradictions in practice. For example, Western psychology often relies on medication—using drugs to manage emotional states. If you feel emotional, take medication; if your behavior is off, take medication; if you claim to have mental issues, take medication; if you claim to be fine, still take medication.
Chinese psychology does not require medication. It emphasizes reflecting on one's actions and their consequences and then making corrections in the details of daily life.
