Unveiling Fate and Fortune: The Secrets Hidden in Facial Features

Throughout life, from birth to death, each year's experiences and circumstances are often described as the flow of fortune. Without a deeper understanding, one might mistakenly believe this is dictated by fate—explaining why some thrive while others face hardship, as if life is simply destined to unfold this way.

This belief is known as fatalism. So, how exactly does the flow of fortune happen? How can we manage and confront it? In Western thought, human health is defined by the proper functioning of various organs. In contrast, traditional Chinese concepts emphasize that organ functions are interconnected and depend on the harmony of Qi (vital energy) to function properly. Consequently, even if organs are healthy, disruptions in Qi can cause physiological issues.

The enigmatic Qi resides in the organs and flows through the meridians, influenced by both personal habits and external climate conditions. According to the natural laws governing Qi's flow, the innate Qi we are born with evolves as we age, displaying different characteristics each year.

In facial analysis, the flow of Qi is visible on the face. For example, from ages one to seven, it's essential to observe the color of the left ear, and from ages eight to fourteen, the right ear. Between fourteen and twenty-eight, attention shifts to the area from the hairline to the glabella (the space between the eyebrows).

If someone encounters misfortune at age twenty-eight, they may notice their eyebrows drawing closer to the glabella, stray hairs in that area, a dull and lifeless color, or even visible lines. Why does this occur before reaching that age? It's similar to how Qi manifests in hair and extremities; the hands and feet are where Qi flows furthest. Even if a person seems healthy, if their feet are swollen and Qi and blood cannot circulate properly, it can provide insight into their potential lifespan.

The principle of the flow of fortune is akin to a barometer, indicating that what occurs at a certain age, whether positive or negative, manifests in different parts of the body. Just as nature experiences sunny and rainy days, so does life. Insisting on doing laundry and hanging out bedding on a rainy day won’t yield ideal results.

The quality of Qi is externally showcased in color brightness and internally related to physiological changes in the organs, which affect emotional and psychological states, ultimately influencing life's ease. Therefore, fate analysis suggests the best approach to managing changes in fortune is self-cultivation and maintaining emotional stability, complemented by feng shui. This strategy is the most effective.

For this reason, throughout Chinese history, various health practices and Qi Gong have been developed to regulate Qi, aiding in emotional control.
