Eight Types of Poverty Faces and Their Solutions
The universe balances yin and yang; everything has good and bad, luck and misfortune—and naturally, fate includes both wealth and scarcity. Below are eight facial features traditionally said to indicate poverty, along with suggested remedies.
1. Coarse and Dull Hair
Coarse, stiff hair with a dull, lifeless look is said to mark someone who will have to work especially hard and struggle through life.
Remedy: If your hair is in poor condition, get regular trims and use conditioning treatments; caring for your hair is believed to improve your luck.
2. Pointed Head and Narrow Forehead
People with a pointed crown and a narrow forehead are said to come from humble beginnings, face tough luck in youth, lack parental support, and find studying harder than most. This feature is often linked with worry and anxiety.
Remedy: Change your hairstyle to make your forehead look fuller, or wear hats more often.
3. Frowning and Gloomy Expression
Someone who often sighs and frowns tends to be passive and pessimistic. If forehead lines appear early (the forehead is said to govern fortunes from ages 15 to 30), that span may involve hardship and toil, with poor health and career struggles that make major achievements difficult.
Remedy: Make new friends, attend happy gatherings, and let yourself laugh more. For forehead lines, try anti-wrinkle serums or modern cosmetic treatments to improve their appearance.
4. Dull and Lifeless Eyes
Sleepy-looking eyes with a vague gaze—often misreading situations and lacking sharp focus—are said to point to a laborious middle age, weak financial luck, and efforts that yield little return.
Remedy: If you’re nearsighted, it’s best to wear glasses; if not, wearing clear lenses can help improve your fortune.
5. Long Neck
The neck is said to reflect financial luck; a neck that’s overly long or short, narrow, or small is unfavorable. The ideal is full and sturdy, with smooth, healthy-looking skin. A thin neck with loose skin often signals obstacles at work and in life, with the risk of major setbacks.
Remedy: Wear high-neck tops or chunky necklaces more often.
6. Small and Sunken Nose
In traditional physiognomy, the nose is the "wealth palace." For men it’s linked to career luck; for women, to relationship luck. A favorable nose is typically high and straight, while a small, low bridge nose is said to make it hard to build wealth and may lead to excessive frugality. A mole on the nose is considered even more inauspicious for finances.
Remedy: Wearing glasses can offset the effect; also, focus on diligence and building marketable skills.
7. Short and Narrow Chin
The chin is said to reflect later-life fortunes, especially after age 50. A short, narrow chin suggests unstable finances in old age, loneliness without close family around, and a bleak later life.
Remedy: Start saving early—ideally invest in property—and men can grow chin hair.
8. Thin with No Curves
People often say a fuller backside supports fertility; in physiognomy, the buttocks also symbolize financial luck, romance, and health. A flat, underdeveloped backside is said to signal poor luck in love and money and frequent health complaints.
Remedy: Build muscle and add healthy weight through consistent exercise; with persistence, your shape will improve and, as the saying goes, good fortune will follow.
