Who Will Cross the Line for Love?

Recently, the "Heilongjiang Pregnant Woman's Murder Case" went to trial, drawing renewed public attention.

Reports indicate that on July 24, 2013, in Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province, a case involving the luring and attempted rape of a young woman occurred. The pregnant suspect, Tan, tricked Hu, an intern at Huanan Hospital, into accompanying her home under the pretense of feeling unwell. After giving Hu yogurt laced with a sedative, Tan's husband attempted to rape her while she was unconscious. Fearing discovery, Tan and her husband decided to kill Hu, then transported her body in a suitcase and buried it.

While Tan's actions are certainly extreme, in reality, it’s not uncommon for people to go to great lengths to maintain relationships and marriages. When someone is deeply infatuated, they may do things that seem unbelievable and make boundless sacrifices.

From the perspective of physiognomy, people with the following facial features tend to invest in relationships regardless of the cost, often without regret.

1. Individuals with a very prominent or deeply recessed forehead

An unusually high or low forehead is seen as representing two extremes—either very high intelligence or a less developed mind. Yet both are said to share a common trait: an intense fixation on relationships, often to the point of infatuation. Whether they are the pursuer or the pursued, once they’re together, they view it as a lifelong commitment.

While others may have various ways to maintain a marriage, these individuals see only one path—continually digging deep to see how much more they can give.

2. Individuals with thick, connected eyebrows

People with dense eyebrows place great importance on emotions. When they fall in love, they do so wholeheartedly, devote themselves to their partner, and rarely change their minds. Connected eyebrows suggest a practical and persistent nature.

Those with this eyebrow shape are highly loyal in relationships, seeking lasting bonds rather than fleeting moments. If their partner's affection fades, it can feel like losing the entire world. They will go to great lengths to win their partner back and will try to meet any request.

3. Individuals with clearly defined blacks and whites in the eyes and slow-moving pupils

People whose whites and irises are clearly delineated are said to be deeply emotional and loyal. They feel compelled to repay kindness many times over and would rather be wronged by the world than wrong others.

If their pupils move slowly while they listen, it’s as if they’re carefully digesting each word. Such individuals take relationships and marriage very seriously, value their loved ones above all else, and are willing to do anything to ensure their partner’s happiness.

4. Individuals with tightly pressed lips and sharply defined lip lines

Those with sharply defined lip lines who habitually press their lips together tend to have strong willpower and are unlikely to change their minds easily. Once they commit to something, they persist—including in relationships—where they are willing to pay any price to see it through.

Teacher Zhang Shu's Friendly Reminder: Everything has its limits, and the same goes for marriage and relationships. Giving without boundaries does not necessarily keep a partner’s heart; it may instead harm you and burden others.
