Why Facial Features Don’t Predict Domestic Violence
In many relationship conflicts, the topic of domestic violence often comes up. So, who is more likely to resort to domestic violence?
1. Thick, straight eyebrows
In general, people with such facial features tend to have particularly volatile personalities. A minor disagreement can easily push them toward violence, and they may not realize their own strength, which can lead to serious consequences. If you encounter such individuals, it’s wise to be cautious.
2. Some people appear gentle but have vacant eyes and a wandering gaze
These individuals are not only emotionally unpredictable but also cunning and deceitful. Most importantly, when they see someone they dislike, they are likely to resort to physical violence. They often present themselves as mild-mannered, scholarly types.
3. Bloodshot eyes
In physiognomy, this is called “red threads in the pupils.” People like this are often hot-tempered, quick to anger, and less rational. Even trivial matters can set them off, making domestic violence more likely.
4. Prominent facial veins and excess flesh on the face
“Prominent veins” refers to noticeable veins or blood vessels on the face. Individuals with these characteristics often have very irritable temperaments and can become inexplicably angry, creating a tense atmosphere at home.
5. Four whites in the eyes
This term describes eyes where the whites are visible around the pupils. Men with this feature tend to have quick tempers and are easily driven by emotion. They may take frustrations from outside and vent them at home, which can lead to domestic violence. In marital conflicts, they may shift from verbal arguments to physical confrontation.
6. Short eyebrows or prominent brow bones
If the eyebrows are noticeably shorter than the eyes, or if the brow bone is prominent in profile, such individuals often come across as domineering and are prone to violence.
7. Very thick eyebrows with outwardly protruding eye corners
Men with this facial feature often have a calculating nature and can be ruthless. They may not reveal their true character until faced with adversity, at which point they may resort to violence. According to the physiognomist Di Tian, such men can be difficult to deal with.
8. High cheekbones and a very high forehead
These individuals tend to be highly possessive and narrow in their emotional focus, often holding grudges over minor issues. Over time, this can lead to violent outbursts.
9. Narrow space between the eyebrows and deep vertical lines on the forehead
This suggests a narrow-minded person. A deep vertical line between the brows indicates someone who holds grudges and is often domineering, making domestic violence more likely.
10. Eyebrows that are very close together or connected
Such men tend to be narrow-minded and intolerant of interactions with the opposite sex, so caution is advised.
Domestic violence between couples often stems from poor communication or a partner with a volatile temper. It’s recommended to create a warm atmosphere at home and avoid overly bright colors that can be overstimulating. If the woman is physically weaker, it is advisable to place larger or heavier objects on her side of the bedroom; generally, it’s suggested that the man sleeps on the left and the woman on the right.
Recently, the ongoing drama between Huang Yi and her husband, Huang Yiqing, has been dizzying, with both sides trading sharp words and various parties joining the fray. Just yesterday, Huang Yi was reported to have been criticized by others, including Huo Siyan and Hao Lei, for supporting her husband. Today, the situation escalated again, with claims from a former friend in the supercar club that Huang Yiqing publicly beat Huang Yi in Los Angeles and cheated with another member’s wife.
This shows that once marital conflicts arise, domestic violence is often mentioned; however, this does not necessarily indicate a long-term pattern of abuse, as the facial indicators are not pronounced.
