What Facial Features Indicate a Loyal Man?
How can a man's facial features reveal his true character—whether he is good or bad? Which features suggest that a man is loyal and righteous?
1. Men with Thick, Long Eyebrows
In physiognomy, eyebrows are considered a key indicator of a man's nature. Men with thin, short eyebrows are generally not seen as valuing loyalty and righteousness. By contrast, thick, long eyebrows are said to reflect emotional depth and loyalty. Ideally, the brows extend beyond the outer corners of the eyes, and the heads and tails of the brows line up—signs of steadiness and commitment. Long eyebrows also suggest enduring emotions. If a man also has a broad forehead, he can be regarded as truly loyal and righteous. Many historically celebrated loyal and righteous men fit this description.
2. Men with Fleshy Noses
Beyond eyebrows, the nose is another major marker in physiognomy. Generally, a sharp, bony, knife-like nose suggests a man is unlikely to be loyal and righteous. Conversely, a straight, well-fleshed nose—from tip to bridge—is taken as a sign that he values loyalty and righteousness.
3. Clear Eyes with Distinct Black and White
The eyes are the windows to the soul. If a man's eyes are small and show "three whites" (with the sclera visible both above and below the iris), he is said to harbor a strong desire for revenge and may use underhanded means to achieve it. A truly loyal and righteous man, regardless of eye size, typically has clear eyes with a sharp contrast between black and white, rather than "three whites."
Other physiognomic features are also believed to indicate loyalty and righteousness: thick, inward-facing ears; full lips and straight teeth; a straight, well-aligned middle finger; an upright sitting posture; long, deep, slightly curved heart and head lines (on the palm); not closing the eyes while speaking; and a smile that engages the eyes and eyebrows. According to physiognomy, these traits suggest a man is genuinely loyal and righteous.
