The Splendor of Wealth and Honor
Physiognomy doesn't claim that only well-proportioned, beautiful features are best. Just as mountains can be elegant yet also unique and treacherous, facial features can be much the same. Among the more unusual traits, which ones stand out most?
1. Forehead and Crown Features
Among features associated with nobility, the forehead carries the most weight—roughly six or seven parts out of ten. Beyond the so-called noble look, there is a distinctive high, upright yet somewhat hollow-looking forehead known as a "leopard forehead." Such a feature should be paired with imposing eyebrows, signaling royal stature. In addition, unusual bone formations at the crown of the head are said to point to significant scholarly attainment. These formations may appear as mounds, pits, horn-like points, or egg-shaped bulges, and are associated with outstanding academic accomplishment.
2. Cheekbone Features
In men, low cheekbones are said to lack nobility; cheekbones reflect a man's presence and are a key factor in success. Cheekbones shouldn't be isolated or sunken—especially for women, as hollows on the cheekbones are believed to bring many obstacles. Prominent cheekbones are not a concern, but they shouldn't be overly wide or high. Many people with unusual features may have shortcomings in some areas yet still wield considerable power and build notable careers, particularly those with large, prominent cheekbones—especially when paired with well-shaped ears. Such individuals dare to do what others won't and take on responsibilities others avoid.
3. Mouth Features
In physiognomy, the mouth is among the most distinctive features. The focus isn't on aesthetics but on fullness and flexibility. It shouldn't be sharp or thin, and a clumsy or weak mouth is considered especially undesirable. A square or round mouth is deemed noble, and flexibility is linked to a life full of remarkable stories and excitement. In general, the more prominent, wider, and more flexible the mouth, the better. In particular, a mouth that opens and closes with ease—appearing small when shut but spacious when open—suggests the person is likely to be a noble person.
