Your Life’s Fortune Predicted by Hair Thickness
Hair isn't typically considered a facial feature, but it holds certain significance in physiognomy. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, hair is viewed as a reflection of the kidneys' surplus vitality. This means that hair symbolizes the leftover energy from the kidneys and the essence of the liver (since the liver is crucial for storing blood, and here "blood" refers to the liver). The shine of one's hair is linked to the kidneys, and since the liver influences growth, hair growth is associated with the liver.
1. Rapid Hair Loss and Destiny
Recently, one of my students, about thirty years old, started experiencing significant hair loss, with visible patches of white scalp. This issue is due to stagnant liver energy, suggesting unresolved mental burdens that lead to rapid hair loss, often referred to as "ghost shaving" in folklore. By consuming herbal medicine that soothes the liver and regulates qi, hair can recover. Such hair conditions also symbolize significant setbacks in one's career, difficulties in personal life, or potential investment failures.
2. Sparse Hair and Physiognomy
The sayings “Those with noble connections do not have thick hair” and “nine out of ten bald men are wealthy” reflect how hair is used to judge wealth and status. Complete hair loss indicates excessive loss of kidney energy. Russian women often prefer bald men, believing them to be energetic partners; however, this results in premature hair loss due to excessive depletion of kidney energy. Additionally, excessive thinking can deplete kidney energy. Men plagued by unfinished tasks often achieve significant career success, making them reliable partners.
3. Curly Hair and Destiny
According to "Xiang Li Heng Zhen": “Sparse and shiny hair indicates intelligence and kindness. If one has clear eyebrows and bright eyes, achieving great heights is probable. Hair as black as lacquer and fine as silk is a sign of wealth and nobility. Long, flowing hair is more common, while unique hairstyles are valued in different regions. A small head with long hair suggests a stubborn nature; long hair with a narrow forehead indicates a shorter life. Hair reaching the ears suggests a stubborn child, while spiral hair signifies a fate that may harm one’s spouse; women with spiral hair may not have enduring marriages.”
If hair is somewhat sparse but the eyebrows and eyes are clear and bright, it often leads to significant achievements. Black, silk-like hair combined with commanding eyes can lead to wealth and nobility. Conversely, a small head with thick hair suggests a lowly and poor fate. Hair reaching the earlobes points to a stubborn child. Spiral hair is said to pose a risk to a spouse, and women with spiral hair may face challenges in maintaining long-lasting marriages.
4. Black and Sparse Hair and Destiny
A physiognomy defined by fine, sparse but not overly thick hair, along with an even hairline, suggests early success. A strong nose and slightly prominent cheekbones indicate prosperity in middle age, while fleshy cheeks and a larger mouth suggest wealth in later life.
Hair should be soft, black, and sparse. Silk-like soft hair indicates harmony between spouses; fine and sparse hair suggests fame and fortune; and sparse, lustrous hair signifies intelligence. When paired with clear and attractive features, it bodes well for great accomplishments.
5. Yellow, Thin, and Coarse Hair and Destiny
A physiognomy with yellow and thin hair suggests a challenging early life and an unstable fortune. Coarse, thick hair typically indicates an impulsive and quick-tempered nature, leading to a life fraught with troubles and hardships.
Hair should avoid being yellow, coarse, or hard. Physiognomy suggests that coarse and hard hair can lead to disharmony between spouses, while yellow and dry hair indicates poverty. If a child has thick hair in infancy, they might be quite mischievous. A low hairline can imply stagnant fortune, while early hair loss might indicate potential financial issues.
