Are Facial Dimples Good or Bad?

Once, there was a Mandarin pop song adapted from an English tune called "The Dimple is Too Mysterious." This song is at least forty years old and was quite popular during the 1960s. I was quite young when I first heard it. Today, however, instead of discussing pop music, I want to talk about facial dimples.
Dimples, sometimes called "wine pits," are thought to indicate a good capacity for drinking, but my research has shown this to be incorrect. Some physiognomists have viewed dimples as flaws, defects, or bad omens, suggesting that women with them may be promiscuous or bring misfortune to their husbands. However, from my experience, dimples are not only not a flaw; they are actually a positive trait. The arguments made by some physiognomists are merely outdated and rigid views from ancient times.
Firstly, people with dimples are often believed to have filial sons or intelligent daughters. If dimples appear on only one side of the face, then for males, a dimple on the left is said to indicate a filial son, while for females, a dimple on the right suggests a filial daughter, with both men and women being considered equally.
In traditional Chinese society, filial piety wasn't just expected; blind loyalty and devotion were also demanded. Any hint of disobedience could lead to punishment by the community or even being reported to authorities, resulting in imprisonment. Thus, having or lacking filial children was of great significance.
Secondly, individuals with dimples tend to be physically stronger and have a more vigorous sexual drive. In the past, this was considered taboo, especially for women—what a scandal that was! However, nowadays, there are countless ways to enhance sexual desire, and when seeking partners, many people desire someone who is a lady in public but more adventurous in private. How can this be seen as a flaw or a negative trait?
People with dimples are generally more optimistic and compassionate. Typically, those with dimples also have fuller lips, which, according to Gypsy palmistry, are features of "Venus hill quality individuals."
People with fuller lips tend to be more passionate, easygoing, and warm-hearted, making them more likely to attract romantic interests. In ancient times, this would have been considered a major taboo, but now it simply means having a wide social circle and many friends of the opposite sex.
So, if you have dimples on your face, congratulations! If you are male, you are likely a strong and robust individual, as well as a skilled lover; if you are female, not only are you beautiful, but you are also an optimistic, passionate, and caring young woman.
Times change, and perspectives should evolve accordingly to avoid becoming outdated.
