Facial Features Indicating Misfortunes Caused by Wrongdoings
As human beings, our fortunes naturally rise and fall—energetic in the morning, weary by evening. As long as the sun keeps rising, there is always a chance for change. Yet there is a kind of fortune not set by nature, but shaped by our own actions.
Good deeds bring good returns, while evil deeds bring their own consequences. The forces accumulated over the years through one’s character often prove decisive in life.
In physiognomy, many signs of misfortune are said to reflect long-standing wrongdoing. The eyes—especially the areas above and below—are telling: if dark circles appear, they suggest a mind prone to scheming and a history of malicious thoughts. In addition, if needle-like lines form at the root of the nose and extend to the tip, the deeper the lines, the more they indicate resentment and ingratitude.
If the cheekbones look pale without illness and the skin appears coarse, it signifies eventual retribution for treachery. A puffy, tired-looking face with dull-looking ears suggests that selfishness will ultimately lead to downfall. Those who harm others to satisfy their own desires and chase pleasure will inevitably face consequences.
A person with eagle-like jaws and mouse-like ears, lacking vitality, is said to live a life marked by bitterness and treachery, often ending in loneliness and a short lifespan. If the forehead shows prominent veins and the body’s “storage areas” look ashen, it is a sign of impending ruin. Engaging in deceitful schemes will lead to collapse.
Dark, damp corners of the eyes, along with unkempt facial hair, indicate impulsive actions taken without regard for consequences, ultimately leading to hardship and helplessness.
