The Palace of Official Wealth, also called the Career Palace, sits above the Yintang point at the center of the forehead, about two centimeters (0.8 in) below the Tian Ting area. It encompasses the Sikong and Zhongzheng regions. The Palace of Official Wealth is associated with career luck, rank, and academic pursuits. It reflects one’s professional success or setbacks and one’s relationships with superiors and elders.

Ideally, this area should be full, smooth, open, and bright, signaling prosperity and authority. If the bones are prominent and connect with the nasal bone—running from the root of the nose through Yintang up to the hairline—this is called “Fuxi Guanding,” which greatly boosts the likelihood of career success and high social standing. Thus, in physiognomy, the nose signifies official rank, the mouth signifies wealth, the Life Palace symbolizes the seal (authority), and the forehead represents noble people; all are considered together when assessing the Palace of Official Wealth.
