Can Mole Removal and Cosmetic Surgery Alter Your Future?

In recent years, cosmetic surgery has become increasingly popular, even among students who hope it will change their fortunes. But to what extent can cosmetic surgery actually influence a person's life path? Can simply altering one's facial features lead to a turnaround in luck?

Dr. Zheng once wrote an article titled "Jack Ma's Cosmetic Surgery: How Good Can His Face Be?" which highlights that the relationship between appearance and fortune is relative. Dr. Zheng particularly cautions that there is no inherent connection between cosmetic surgery and a person's luck. For those who truly need cosmetic surgery, it's important to first understand their fortune cycle and avoid having surgery during a downturn; otherwise, it could have negative effects. Even beauty treatments require careful timing. While cosmetic surgery can't change a person's fate, it can affect their mood and how others perceive them, indirectly influencing their destiny.

We often hear reports of cosmetic surgery linked to improved fortunes. For instance, a previously unattractive woman received numerous love messages after surgery due to her newfound cheerful demeanor. A striking story reported by British and German media involves a 48-year-old Berlin-based cosmetic surgeon, Reza Vossough, who married a plain-looking 33-year-old barmaid named Kani five years ago to fulfill his "creative desires." This gave him the chance to personally "craft" his ideal wife! Over five years, Reza spent £18,000 on cosmetic procedures for Kani, performing eight major surgeries and numerous Botox treatments, ultimately transforming her into the beauty he envisioned.

Reza said, "At that time, Kani had a large bottom and thick legs, which I didn't like at all. I thought she lacked charm. However, despite her many flaws, Kani gave me the opportunity to reshape her through cosmetic surgery."

After marrying Kani, Reza immediately embarked on her "cosmetic transformation," performing extensive body modifications. These included a buttock reduction to slim her large backside and liposuction on her thighs and abdomen to reshape her "elephant legs" and flatten her protruding belly.

Reports also suggest that, alongside body modifications, Reza conducted substantial facial surgeries on Kani. Most notably, he carried out an extraordinary breast augmentation procedure, implanting 1.6 kilograms of silicone into her chest, transforming her from an "A cup" to an "F cup"! Due to the amount of silicone needed, Reza had to perform four surgeries to complete the implants. Today, Kani has become a stunning model.

To what degree can cosmetic surgery alter one's life path, and what scientific basis supports this? The questions regarding cosmetic surgery and destiny can be summarized as follows:

1. Many celebrities seem to achieve great success after undergoing cosmetic surgery, implying it can indeed change one's destiny. For example, Jolin Tsai and Kim Hee-sun are success stories of cosmetic surgery.

2. Does becoming more beautiful automatically improve one's fate?

3. Could cosmetic surgery disrupt existing good fortune or luck, leading to undesirable changes?

4. If ordinary people undergo cosmetic procedures (even minor ones like double eyelid surgery or teeth correction), can it change their fate to any degree?

From the perspective of traditional Chinese fate theory, Dr. Zheng emphasizes understanding that fate influences appearance, not the other way around. The saying "appearance arises from the heart" captures this principle. In other words, a person's thoughts and actions are part of their fate; whether to undergo cosmetic surgery and whether the changes are positive or negative is all part of fate's arrangement. Thus, celebrities enhance their images through surgery, but their fate differs inherently from others.

Although cosmetic surgery can't change fate, it can affect mood and perceptions, thereby indirectly influencing destiny. If someone is unhappy with their appearance and frequently hears negative comments about being "ugly," it can impact their luck. Cosmetic surgery can therefore improve one's mood. There's no direct link between cosmetic surgery and changing fortune; it’s more about its indirect influence on fate. By boosting confidence through cosmetic surgery, people can feel more empowered, leading to changes in their fate. With confidence and a positive attitude, relationships naturally improve, and life's events fall into place. In this way, even a small change can significantly impact one's destiny.

The range of procedures has expanded with technological advancements, covering nose reshaping, jawline reduction, cheekbone grinding, facial contouring, double eyelid surgery, eyebrow tattooing, lip enhancements, breast augmentation, facelifts, skin whitening, and more. The goal is to enhance beauty, but concerns often arise about whether altering one's appearance will improve or worsen one's fate.

Dr. Zheng advises that not everyone should undergo cosmetic surgery; our bodies are a gift from our parents. Many individuals who undergo surgery don't see an improvement in their fortunes; some even experience declines. Therefore, Dr. Zheng recommends consulting a fate expert to determine if surgery is advisable. If fate does not align with surgery, pursuing it might lead to negative outcomes. The "fortune-enhancing cosmetic surgery" promoted by many clinics is often just a marketing strategy. According to the principle "appearance arises from the heart," those unsuited for surgery can achieve improvement through mindset changes, allowing their good fortune to manifest. Cultivating inner confidence naturally attracts good luck.

Ultimately, if one insists on linking cosmetic surgery and changes in appearance to fate, it should be viewed within the context of traditional physiognomy.

Physiognomy studies human fate based on facial features. For example, a flat nose can be reshaped into a high one through surgery. If the nose symbolizes a woman’s husband, a flat nose may indicate an unattractive spouse, whereas a high nose represents an attractive one. But does this imply fate has changed? Not necessarily.

This is because fate is embedded within appearance, multi-dimensional, and multi-faceted, much like a house with numerous entrances. There are front, back, side doors, and hidden passages. Often, there are more entrances than one might realize. The mysteries of creation are subtle and elusive, offering us only a glimpse of fate. The idea that a nose symbolizes a husband is just one perspective. If the nose representing a husband is altered but the eye corners remain unchanged, the fate stays the same. Just like repairing the front door doesn’t change the fact that the back and sides are still open. Hence, while cosmetic surgery can alter someone’s appearance, it doesn’t change fate.

Physiognomy is one of many traditional fate theories; there are more detailed theories like BaZi Four Pillars, Zi Wei Dou Shu, astrology, and lifelong hexagrams. If one believes that moles or cosmetic procedures can alter fate, then the BaZi Four Pillars and Zi Wei Dou Shu, which are based on birth details, show that changing appearance does not alter the birth moment. Thus, cosmetic surgery does not influence fate; it is not related to fate theory.

Dr. Zheng Weijian’s Important Reminder:

As mentioned earlier, there is no inherent connection between cosmetic surgery and fortune. If someone needs surgery for beauty purposes, they must consider their fortune cycle and avoid surgery during a downturn, as it could backfire. Remember Dr. Zheng's advice: Feng Shui surrounds us all.
