Did you know there may be a connection between your birth month and who you end up marrying?
We were intrigued to discover some scientific research on this subject. In one study, Marlis Moritz (March 2003) examined the birth dates of 2,549,000 men and women who married in Germany between 1995 and 2000. She found that marriages often occur between individuals born in the same month or similar time periods.
In fact, her research suggests that people typically marry those born within four months of their own birth month. Additionally, women tend to prefer marrying men born before their birth month, while men favor women born after theirs.
Her findings also supported a 1974 study by two Dutch behavioral scientists, Drs. P.P.A.M. Kop and B.A. Heuts, who were affiliated with the University of Amsterdam.
These scientists discovered noteworthy statistical patterns. In their study on animals, they found that not every male pairs with any female, and vice versa. This led them to explore whether these patterns also apply to human behavior. They analyzed nearly 3,500 marriages in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and found significant statistical correlations related to birth months.
We now share the findings of Marlis Moritz and Kop & Heuts. Fascinating, isn't it? While there may be some truth to these findings, it is crucial to remember that they are based solely on statistical data rather than specific real-life cases!
From an astrological perspective, your birth month is not the same as your zodiac sign, making it challenging to draw astrological conclusions from these studies.
