Those Who Try to Escape Their Destiny Are Doomed to Suffer

Why does life often seem filled with various kinds of pain? Unsuccessful relationships, broken marriages, financial crises, stagnant careers, and chronic illnesses... Many people seek consultations because their lives feel chaotic. Through astrology, I've discovered a common thread among them: they have abandoned their true calling.

Consider a highly capable woman who marries young and becomes a housewife, managing daily chores. One day, her husband is unfaithful and asks for a divorce, leaving her bewildered, questioning where she went wrong after giving so much.

Or, think of a talented saleswoman who spends her youth with a wealthy older man, only to end up with nothing.

Or, a creative individual who, in pursuit of a supposedly stable job to meet parental expectations, joins a government position. Yet, they face repeated disappointments in promotions, leading to immense pressure and frustration.

……

When I inquire about their true calling, some admit, “I thought about it, but then I gave up.” Others confess, “I never thought about it; I just focused on relationships,” while some ponder, “Isn't that unrealistic?” Consequently, they're often grappling with questions like “How do I win back my husband?”, “How can I get promoted?”, or “How do I find true love?”—questions that seldom lead to answers.

It's similar to someone addicted to drugs, constantly asking: “Why is it so painful? Why do I keep failing? Why is my health worsening? Why can't I afford drugs?” Ultimately, these questions miss the point because the root issue is the addiction itself!

We, too, have our addictions, using marriage, money, careers, and various distractions to evade one thing: our true calling.

Our souls will not allow perpetual escape, as they are committed to living authentically. This is why so-called tragic events occur: divorce, unemployment, illness... They serve as warnings, signaling that we've grown too comfortable and neglected to rise. Our souls start to peel back the layers and proclaim, “Wake up!”

I often share this analogy with my students: when riding a bicycle, how do you maintain balance? How do you keep your center without toppling over? The answer is clear: balance comes naturally when you move forward, but when you stop, no matter how hard you try, maintaining balance is impossible!

Therefore, the most crucial solution to any problem is to embrace your true calling and continue moving forward.
