Power King Star's Three-Step Transformation

Text: Astrologer Jupiter

At the start of the year, I kept saying that no one will escape transformation. The astrological theme is a Saturn–Uranus opposition that evolves into a T-square with Pluto. This summer, Jupiter will conjoin Uranus and jump into the mix as well. If those terms aren’t familiar, that’s okay—the key takeaway is that everyone is facing change. When change arrives, resisting won’t help; meet it with the strength of your experience and foundations, and welcome a new beginning.

In recent months, the stories I hear most are about relationships ending, the loss of loved ones, job shake-ups, and even full career pivots. Clients booking consultations are often in a rush because the Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto energies are so intense that many feel overwhelmed.

Of course, I’m experiencing major shifts too. I moved my office right after the Lunar New Year, and now I’m preparing to move to a new home—huge changes within just a few months. Lately I’ve been busy packing, and through this process I’ve felt Pluto’s presence strongly, which I’d like to share with you.

Anyone who’s moved knows that packing forces you to face every corner and every item—even what’s buried in the darkest space under the bed, or things you haven’t touched in ten years, including items you forgot you owned. You’re compelled to confront them: throw them away, give them away, or take them to the new place. This is Pluto in essence—it pushes you to unearth what’s deeply buried, including old relationships, memories, and inner fears, and then clear them out.

Sorting all of this can be painful: wiping off thick layers of dust; accepting that some things no longer suit you and learning to let them go; and knowing what to keep versus what to release, which is a skill in itself. As you pack box after box, your hands get dirty and rough; facing a mountain of cartons at home can feel overwhelming.

But in the process, you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. For example, when I realized I no longer care for certain types of books and don’t need to keep them, I discovered that I already carry the wisdom they offered. Clothes that once seemed beautiful now look ordinary; the garments haven’t changed, but my way of expressing myself has. These are all fascinating moments of self-discovery.

Once you make it through the hard part, you can start fresh in your new home—arrange it the way you like and buy things that truly suit you. With fewer belongings, you feel lighter, and everything can begin anew. In the new space, you may need to readjust, find new rhythms, and meet new needs, but it’s fresh and exciting.

Whichever area of your life is being activated by Pluto, Saturn, or Uranus, the meaning remains the same: face the past and the present, move through the painful clearing, and be reborn. I hope everyone can appreciate this triptych as you navigate this transformative time.
