Navigating Midlife Career Promotions: Strategies for Success

A few days ago, I had a conversation with a friend about a thought-provoking topic: "Is it better to achieve success early in life, or is late success more rewarding?" Early achievers are often full of energy and youthful enthusiasm, while those who find success later may benefit from the wisdom gained through experience. I mentioned that I consider myself an example of late success. Who else can say that at 54, I still have the opportunity to be featured in a facial mask advertisement (haha)? And let's be honest, "since I don’t have the perfect figure, my face becomes all the more important" (isn't that spot-on?).

Now, I can confidently say that my late success means I'm gradually stepping into a richer phase of life. Everything I possess is not only accumulating but also aging well, becoming more fragrant and exuding positivity. How wonderful is that! However, I can't help but recall the me from over a decade ago—feeling lost and uncertain about the future, wondering why, despite my hard work, fate seemed to overlook me.

Back then, my environment was slow-paced, and things unfolded gradually, yet I couldn't calm my restless heart. Imagine how much more challenging it must be for everyone dealing with the rapid changes in today’s world!

Now, with Uranus moving into Taurus, a new energy is surfacing. Behind the scenes, many companies are grappling with financial issues, leading to a wave of potential unemployment. Although it’s not openly discussed, these changes have been brewing for some time, making adaptation not just an option but a necessity. Please don’t be discouraged; this is undoubtedly a transformative process of rebirth. By embracing new models, values, and expressive ways, we can open the door to unexpected opportunities and potentially reach new heights in life.

There's a saying: "Nothing is scarier than middle-aged unemployment." From an astrological perspective, people encounter what’s known as a "midlife crisis" around the age of 40, closely tied to Uranus. At 40, Uranus opposes its original position, bringing with it a "significant impact." Uranus is often linked to personal reflection and social interaction, so this opposition can lead to psychological anxiety and severe self-doubt, prompting individuals to re-evaluate their lifestyles, potentially deepening feelings of frustration.

"The most challenging moments are actually the most fortunate ones."

In 2009, after nearly a decade of hosting a program, I suddenly found myself without a steady income after many years of a reliable salary. With only one program remaining, I was essentially unemployed. At that time, in my early 40s, I faced a midlife crisis and reached a low point in my career.

However, without that period of introspection, I wouldn’t have achieved the small successes or the joy and confidence I now experience in the realm of social media. Being pushed out of my comfort zone forced me to confront my situation and make changes—without experiencing loss, I wouldn’t have learned how to create anew.

This is the message I want to share with everyone: in a world of constant evolution, embrace the process of transformation, and fortune will favor a soul that is rich with wisdom and experience.
