Understanding the Balance and Complexity of Libra in the Real World

I have a very good Libra friend, and this year marks our ninth year of knowing each other. One day, she said to me, “If I am 50% perfunctory with others, I am only 6% perfunctory with you.”
In that moment, as someone with a fire sign moon, I was taken aback : ). The idea of being "perfunctory" is somewhat foreign to me. After all, let's face it, we fire sign moons are known for being “impatient with people and things we aren't interested in” (with background music in my mind: “How good friends we are! How could there be any perfunctoriness?” BALALA... But since 6% is relatively low... I've decided to let it slide~)
I grew curious about what Libra's version of "perfunctory" really means. Recently, I met another Libra woman.
Long ago, I believed that strength meant having specialized skills, like dancers, programmers, or accountants... However, I learned something new from this Libra girl. She doesn't seem to have any "specialty"; her job primarily involves organizing art exhibitions, yet she possesses a kind of “soft power.” This power enables her to persuade those who owe money to pay up, to smoothly manage work with difficult partners, and to enter a room and connect everyone with a metaphorical golden ribbon of harmony. Wherever she goes, she radiates an aura of harmony and love.
Libras have a natural social skill that fire signs can’t quite match. But why? How do they do it?
When a Libra girl has a need, she might visualize a box in her mind, then divide it in half. On one side, she lists her needs, and on the other, the needs of others, with the conditions for exchange in between. Then she negotiates. This approach can drive fire signs crazy—my needs can’t be fully met? Then there’s nothing more to discuss. And then... (situations might fall apart, or they might be fully resolved.)
It’s all about “compromise.”
Fire signs are again frustrated. Compromise?! Is compromise a skill? If there's dissatisfaction, let's confront it! Let's see who comes out on top! (Aries folks in opposition are fuming.jpg)
The Libra girl is willing to compromise; she takes others' needs into account. She aims for a win-win situation, a harmonious condition, and for that goal, she is prepared to make concessions and “compromise.” As a result, she enjoys sweet rewards and more durable harmonious relationships. This compromise also has to be comfortable for her, of course, and if the other party’s terms violate this “harmony and equality,” she will certainly get upset. Naturally, even her anger is “elegant.”
Libra's ruling planet Venus also governs marriage and relationships, as well as money. For Libras, marriage holds significant importance in life. A Libra girl might buy two boxes of her husband’s favorite dragon beard candy after a business trip; what seems like a casual gesture is actually filled with deep affection and tenderness.
Finally, after some thought, I've come up with the formula for Libra's “perfunctory”: more patience + more tolerance + more endurance + more listening + ...

Note: The story above about the “Libra girl” can also apply to those with strong 7th house placements, a prominent Venus, or many 180-degree aspects in their charts. You may also possess many Libra traits~
Fire signs: Fire signs include Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Similarly, those with strong 1st, 5th, or 9th house placements, or many 120-degree aspects or conjunctions in their charts can also relate to this.
