How Astrology Can Guide Your Parenting and Childbirth Choices
Based on the research and theoretical work of Russian astrobiologist Eugene Jonas, a woman can conceive only when the transiting Sun and Moon form the same aspect as the angle between her natal Sun and Moon. For example, if a woman's natal Sun is in Leo and her natal Moon is in Sagittarius, creating a trine (120°) between the luminaries, then whenever the transiting Sun and Moon also form a trine, it is considered an optimal time for conception.
A 120° trine is a harmonious aspect. Other harmonious aspects between the transiting Sun and Moon include sextiles (60°), conjunctions (0°), and oppositions (180°), which are also favorable for fertility. Conversely, challenging aspects between the transiting Sun and Moon make conception less likely. These harmonious or challenging alignments occur approximately every two and a half days. By learning some basic astrology or consulting an ephemeris (a book or table of planetary positions), a woman can anticipate which two-and-a-half-day windows are suitable or unsuitable for conception.
Note: The maximum time for sperm to reach and fertilize the egg is 12 hours. In addition, any challenging or detrimental aspects from other planets to the luminaries should be avoided as much as possible to prevent deformities or weaknesses in the child.
According to this method, the child's sex is determined by the Moon's sign at the time of conception. If the transiting Moon is in a masculine sign (Aries, Gemini, Leo, Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius) at conception, it will be a boy; if the transiting Moon is in a feminine sign (Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces), it will be a girl.
According to the ancient Trutine of Hermes formula, the Moon's sign at the time of conception becomes the ascendant at birth, while the ascendant at conception becomes the Moon's sign at birth. The typical duration from conception to birth is about 273 days, or 10 lunar cycles (note: lunar months), or 9 solar months (note: calendar months).
This means you will have many options regarding your child's Moon and ascendant signs (other planets can also be chosen), allowing you to anticipate your child's personality and make selections accordingly.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a beautiful, successful child? This requires a fertility plan and some astrological knowledge. The ascendant is said to have the greatest influence on physical beauty and is best placed in a masculine sign, while the Moon is ideally placed in a feminine sign. If conception occurs only when the transiting Moon is in a masculine sign (approximately every two and a half days) and the transiting ascendant (the ascendant point at that time) is in a feminine sign (approximately every two hours), there will be more beautiful and successful people in the world!
